Technical Project manager - Power tools
About the role
Lead local cross function project team with global engineering teams, mainly responsible for transfer projects, local new development projects and new platform product development projects for local and global market. Responsibilities: Align with stakeholders to set up project targets and lead team to achieve project objectives (quality, cost, time etc.). Establish & implement the Project Management Plan based on the Project Charter, integrating lessons learned from other projects/predecessors. Appropriately apply all project management knowledge, respecting all relevant regulations. Assess technical feasibility with business team for the technical concept and Industrial Design. Responsible for projects design maturity under the framework of BES-PE (Bosch Engineering System-Product Engineering). Project technical knowhow management and sharing across teams with the purpose to enable the team competence required to deliver solutions. Escalate to business team to remove projects’ impediment when necessary. Monitor project spending and investment, do process improvement with relevant EO. Work closely with Plant teams and marketing teams for the execution of the project / tasks. Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering 8+ years of professional experience, of which at least 2 years’ experience in people management Preferable working as team leader or project lead in earlier roles Project management skill and methodology (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, PMP). Good business overview to understand and analyze project business value. Good product overview and technical knowhow in order to well manage product related project risks. Stakeholder Management and Negotiation skills. Be able to lead cross functional team and motivate the team w/o hierarchy power. Profound presentation and communication skill including English, and moderation skill in projects. Result oriented, careful and conscientious, have initiative and responsibility, good collaboration and communication skill Self-motivated, strong ownership, open mind, fast learning and team player. Good communic ation skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
