The template

{{Company name}} is hiring a Customer Success Manager to own the post-sale relationship with our customers. You will turn new accounts into confident, successful users of our product and act as the voice of the customer inside the company. Your goal is simple: customers who renew, expand, and recommend us.

What you'll do

  • Own a portfolio of accounts from onboarding through renewal, with clear health and adoption targets.
  • Run structured onboarding plans that get new customers to first value quickly.
  • Hold regular business reviews that connect product usage to each customer's goals.
  • Monitor account health signals and act early when you see churn risk.
  • Spot expansion opportunities and partner with sales on renewals and upsells.
  • Turn customer feedback into clear, prioritized input for the product team.
  • Build playbooks, help content, and lifecycle communications that scale your impact beyond one-to-one calls.

What we're looking for

  • {{Years of experience}} years in customer success, account management, or another customer-facing role with retention goals.
  • A track record of hitting retention or net revenue retention targets you can walk us through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting to stakeholders up to the executive level.
  • The ability to learn a technical product deeply and explain it simply.
  • Organized and reliable: you manage many accounts and priorities without dropping threads.
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM and modern customer success tooling.

Nice to have

  • Experience in {{Industry}} or with a similar product category.
  • Comfort with reporting tools to build your own account dashboards.
  • Experience creating onboarding or customer-education content at scale.
  • A second language relevant to our customer base.

Compensation and benefits

  • {{Salary range}}
  • {{Benefits summary}}
  • {{Location / remote policy}}
