The template

{{Company name}} is hiring a Customer Support Specialist to be the first, calm, capable voice our customers meet when something isn't working. You will resolve questions across email and chat, turn confused customers into confident ones, and feed what you learn back into the product and the help center. Support here is a craft and a career, not a waiting room.

What you'll do

  • Resolve customer questions across {{Support channels}} with speed, accuracy, and warmth
  • Meet response and resolution targets while keeping quality and CSAT high
  • Troubleshoot product issues, reproduce bugs, and escalate to engineering with clear steps and context
  • Write and update help-center articles so the next customer self-serves
  • Spot patterns in tickets and flag emerging issues before they become incidents
  • Help new customers get set up during onboarding conversations
  • Contribute to macros, saved replies, and internal runbooks that make the whole team faster

What we're looking for

  • 1+ years in customer support, service, or another customer-facing role
  • Excellent written communication: clear, warm, and free of jargon
  • Patience and de-escalation skills when customers arrive frustrated
  • Comfort learning a technical product deeply enough to troubleshoot it
  • Experience with a helpdesk or ticketing tool
  • Reliable availability for {{Coverage hours and time zone}}

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting a software or subscription product
  • Additional languages beyond {{Primary support language}}
  • Familiarity with basic troubleshooting tools (browser consoles, screen recording)
  • Help-center or documentation writing experience

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary: {{Salary range}}
  • Benefits: {{Benefits summary}}
  • Location: {{Location / remote policy}}

How to apply

{{Application instructions}} Bonus points for a short example of how you would explain a tricky concept to a frustrated customer. If you don't tick every box but believe you can do this job well, we still want to hear from you.
