The template

{{Company name}} is hiring a DevOps Engineer to make shipping software fast, safe, and boring — in the best sense. You will own the infrastructure, pipelines, and observability that let our engineers deploy confidently many times a day.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that keep feedback fast and releases low-drama.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure as code, so environments are reproducible and reviewable.
  • Own observability: metrics, logs, tracing, and alerts that catch problems before customers do.
  • Improve reliability through capacity planning, autoscaling, and well-rehearsed incident response.
  • Harden security across the stack: secrets management, least-privilege access, patching, and network policy.
  • Keep cloud costs visible and under control without starving the roadmap.
  • Partner with product engineers on architecture decisions that affect operability, and document runbooks they can follow at 3 a.m.

What we're looking for

  • {{Years of experience}} years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
  • Hands-on skill with containers and orchestration in production.
  • Solid scripting ability (for example Bash and Python) and comfort automating anything done twice.
  • Experience running incident response: triage, communication, and blameless postmortems.
  • A security-first habit of mind — you notice the risky default before it bites.

Nice to have

  • Experience with {{Specific stack or platform}}.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to our industry.
  • Database operations experience: backups, replication, and upgrades.
  • Contributions to internal developer-platform or tooling projects.

Compensation and benefits

  • {{Salary range}}
  • {{Benefits summary}}
  • {{Location / remote policy}}

How to apply

{{Application instructions}} Tell us about one incident or bottleneck you eliminated permanently — what kept happening, and what you changed so it could not.
