The template

{{Company name}} is hiring a Product Manager to own {{Product area}} from problem discovery through launch and iteration. You will work daily with engineers and designers, decide what gets built and in what order, and be accountable for whether it moves the metrics that matter. This is a role for someone who loves the craft: talking to users, writing sharp specs, and shipping.

What you'll do

  • Own the roadmap for your area, balancing customer value, business impact, and effort
  • Run continuous discovery: user interviews, data analysis, and problem validation before solutions
  • Write clear specs and user stories that engineers can build from without guesswork
  • Prioritize the backlog and make the trade-off calls when everything feels important
  • Partner with design on flows and prototypes, and with engineering on feasibility and sequencing
  • Define success metrics per release, instrument them, and report honestly on results
  • Coordinate launches with marketing, support, and sales so releases land, not just ship
  • Synthesize customer feedback into insight the whole team can act on

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years in product management or a closely adjacent role (founder, engineer, or analyst who shipped product)
  • Evidence of shipping features that measurably improved a user or business outcome
  • Strong written communication: crisp specs, honest updates, useful documentation
  • Comfort with product data — funnels, cohorts, and enough SQL or analytics tooling to self-serve
  • Genuine customer curiosity and a habit of talking to users weekly
  • Low-ego collaboration with engineers and designers

Nice to have

  • Experience in our domain: {{Industry or domain}}
  • Technical background or fluency with APIs and system constraints
  • Experience running A/B tests responsibly
  • Prior work in a remote-first, distributed team

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary: {{Salary range}}
  • Benefits: {{Benefits summary}}
  • Location: {{Location / remote policy}}

How to apply

{{Application instructions}} Tell us about one thing you shipped: the problem, what you chose to build, and what the data said afterward. If you don't tick every box but believe you can do this job well, we still want to hear from you.
