The template

{{Company name}} is hiring a Project Manager to turn ambitious plans into shipped outcomes. You will own project plans from kickoff to retrospective, keep risks visible before they become surprises, and be the person every stakeholder trusts for a straight answer on status. The best fit is someone who creates clarity, not ceremonies.

What you'll do

  • Build project plans with realistic scope, sequencing, and milestones for {{Project types}}
  • Run the delivery rhythm: kickoffs, standups, reviews, and retrospectives that people find useful
  • Track progress against plan and surface slippage early, with options rather than alarm
  • Maintain a living risk register and drive mitigations to actual closure
  • Communicate status to stakeholders in crisp, honest updates tuned to each audience
  • Coordinate work across teams and vendors, resolving dependency conflicts before they block
  • Manage scope-change conversations so trade-offs are decided, not discovered
  • Document decisions and keep the single source of truth actually true

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years managing projects with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in both agile and predictive approaches — and judgment about when each fits
  • Strong command of at least one project-management tool and clean documentation habits
  • Facilitation skills that keep meetings short and decisions made
  • Calm, structured communication under deadline pressure
  • A record of delivering projects on time or renegotiating honestly when reality changed

Nice to have

  • A project-management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or agile equivalents)
  • Experience with software or {{Industry or domain}} projects
  • Budget-tracking and vendor-coordination experience
  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary: {{Salary range}}
  • Benefits: {{Benefits summary}}
  • Location: {{Location / remote policy}}

How to apply

{{Application instructions}} Tell us about a project that went sideways and how you got it back on track. If you don't tick every box but believe you can do this job well, we still want to hear from you.
