The template

{{Company name}} is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to own the surfaces our users touch every day. You will shape our frontend architecture, ship polished features in {{Frontend framework}}, and set the standard for performance and accessibility across the product. We want someone who treats the interface as the product, not a layer on top of it.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain complex, user-facing features in {{Frontend framework}} with TypeScript
  • Own frontend architecture decisions: state management, data fetching, routing, and code organization
  • Drive performance work — Core Web Vitals, bundle size, rendering strategy — with measurable targets
  • Champion accessibility so features meet WCAG standards from the first commit, not as a retrofit
  • Partner closely with designers on feasibility, interaction detail, and the shared component library
  • Define the testing strategy across unit, integration, and end-to-end suites
  • Review pull requests and mentor mid-level engineers on frontend craft
  • Instrument the product with error tracking and analytics, and act on what the data shows

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of frontend experience with expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Depth in a modern component framework: rendering model, server-side rendering, hydration trade-offs
  • Hands-on performance profiling experience and a record of making slow pages fast
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards and assistive-technology testing
  • Experience building or maintaining a design system or shared component library
  • Strong collaboration habits with design and product in a distributed team

Nice to have

  • Experience with server-side rendering frameworks or edge rendering
  • Motion and animation work that respects performance budgets
  • Native or mobile-web experience
  • Public talks, writing, or open-source work on frontend topics

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary: {{Salary range}}
  • Benefits: {{Benefits summary}}
  • Location: {{Location / remote policy}}

How to apply

{{Application instructions}} Include a link to work you are proud of — a shipped product, a component library, or a case study. If you don't tick every box but believe you can do this job well, we still want to hear from you.
