The template

{{Company name}} is hiring a Software Engineer to build and ship product features alongside a supportive, experienced team. You will take well-scoped problems from ticket to production, grow your judgment through code review and pairing, and gradually take on larger, more ambiguous work. This is a great role for an engineer with a few years of experience who wants real ownership with real mentorship.

What you'll do

  • Implement, test, and ship features in {{Tech stack}} with guidance from senior engineers
  • Write clean, well-tested code and improve the code you touch along the way
  • Participate actively in code reviews — both giving and receiving feedback
  • Debug and fix issues in production with support from the on-call rotation
  • Collaborate with product and design to clarify requirements before building
  • Document your work so the next person can pick it up without archaeology
  • Contribute ideas in planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience
  • Solid programming fundamentals and working fluency in at least one modern language
  • Comfort with git-based workflows, code review, and CI pipelines
  • Experience writing automated tests and using them to work with confidence
  • Curiosity, coachability, and the drive to level up quickly
  • Clear written and spoken communication in a distributed team

Nice to have

  • Exposure to {{Tech stack}} or an adjacent ecosystem
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Side projects, open-source contributions, or a portfolio that shows initiative
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerized deployments

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary: {{Salary range}}
  • Benefits: {{Benefits summary}}
  • Location: {{Location / remote policy}}

How to apply

{{Application instructions}} Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. If you don't tick every box but believe you can do this job well, we still want to hear from you.
