The template

{{Company name}} is hiring a Web Developer to build, launch, and maintain the websites and landing pages that represent us online. You will turn designs into fast, responsive, accessible pages, keep our CMS running smoothly, and make sure everything we ship works across browsers and devices. This role blends craft, speed, and a healthy obsession with the details visitors notice.

What you'll do

  • Build responsive pages and site sections from design files using semantic HTML, modern CSS, and JavaScript
  • Develop and maintain templates and components in {{CMS or site platform}}
  • Ship landing pages quickly for campaigns, with tracking and forms wired correctly
  • Monitor and improve site performance: image optimization, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals
  • Apply technical SEO fundamentals — clean markup, metadata, structured data, redirects
  • Test across browsers and devices, and fix layout and compatibility issues
  • Integrate third-party services such as analytics, forms, chat, and marketing tools
  • Keep dependencies, plugins, and site security patches up to date

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of professional web development experience
  • Strong HTML, CSS (flexbox, grid, responsive layouts), and vanilla JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with at least one CMS or site framework
  • Working knowledge of web performance and accessibility basics
  • An eye for detail that catches the 2-pixel misalignment before the designer does
  • Ability to manage multiple small projects and communicate timelines clearly

Nice to have

  • Experience with a JavaScript framework or static-site generator
  • Familiarity with version control workflows and basic CI/CD
  • Basic design skills or comfort working directly in design tools
  • Experience with A/B testing tools and conversion optimization

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary: {{Salary range}}
  • Benefits: {{Benefits summary}}
  • Location: {{Location / remote policy}}

How to apply

{{Application instructions}} Include links to two or three sites you built and what you did on each. If you don't tick every box but believe you can do this job well, we still want to hear from you.
